Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Baby Blue Marshall Stack (Soft Machine) by Kaz Oshiro. The price achieved of USD 22,860.00 (€ 21,026.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kaz Oshiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work File Cabinets (black/black), which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baby Blue Marshall Stack (Soft Machine) von Kaz Oshiro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.860,00 (€ 21.026,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kaz Oshiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit File Cabinets (black/black) beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36) versteigert wurde.
