Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pooch by Katy Moran was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,484.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Katy Moran - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 62,557.75).

Die Arbeit Pooch von Katy Moran kam im Oktober 2015 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 17.484,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Katy Moran mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 62.557,75) versteigert wurde.
