Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Van, Red Hook, NY; Angela, Red Hook, NY by Katy Grannan was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April last year. The price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,783.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Katy Grannan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Anonymous, Los Angeles in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.783,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katy Grannan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Anonymous, Los Angeles im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68).
