In the A Life Among Artists: Contemporary Photographs from an Esteemed Private Collection auction, the work Untitled (from Poughkeepsie Journal) changed hands for USD 2,772.00 (€ 2,394.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Katy Grannan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Anonymous, Los Angeles in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Katy Grannan konnte im September 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
