Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October last year Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Inessa Waits Near South 9th Street, Modesto, CA by Katy Grannan. The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,860.00 (€ 13,952.08), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Katy Grannan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68) in April 2015 for the work Anonymous, Los Angeles.
