Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Forest by Justine Kurland was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2011. It achieved a price of USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,349.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Other works by Justine Kurland have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,395.53) in September 2007 for the work Four Leaf Clovers (Lexington, Virginia).
