Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Justin Lieberman could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Under the Influence auction, the work Cultural Exchange: The American Friend changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 770.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Justin Lieberman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Woman's Voice... in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 4,745.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Justin Lieberman konnte im Dezember 2012 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Under the Influence wechselte die Arbeit Cultural Exchange: The American Friend für GBP 625,00 (€ 770,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Justin Lieberman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Woman's Voice... im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 4.745,33).
