Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Babylon by Justin Adian was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,461.81) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Justin Adian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Non-Site Healing, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).

Die Arbeit Babylon von Justin Adian kam im März 2016 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.461,81) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Justin Adian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Non-Site Healing beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36) versteigert wurde.
