Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Gold to Lilac to Green" by Juri Markkula. The price achieved of SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,511.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juri Markkula - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "IKB Ground Leaves", which sold at auction in April 2021 for SEK 90,000.00 (€ 8,850.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Gold to Lilac to Green" von Juri Markkula zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.511,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Juri Markkula mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "IKB Ground Leaves" beobachtet, die im April 2021 für SEK 90.000,00 (€ 8.850,37) versteigert wurde.
