Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Fort knox" by Juri Markkula was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November last year. It achieved a price of SEK 46,000.00 (€ 4,193.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juri Markkula - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "IKB Ground Leaves", which sold at auction in April 2021 for SEK 90,000.00 (€ 8,850.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Fort knox" von Juri Markkula wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 46.000,00 (€ 4.193,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Für andere Arbeiten von Juri Markkula mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "IKB Ground Leaves" beobachtet, die im April 2021 für SEK 90.000,00 (€ 8.850,37) versteigert wurde.
