Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled from the series Night Walker by Jumaldi Alfi was sold in the Faces Places: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 35,280.00 (€ 4,265.61), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jumaldi Alfi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Colour Guide Serie: Homage To Martin Kippenberger in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 50,859.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled from the series Night Walker von Jumaldi Alfi wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Faces Places: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 35.280,00 (€ 4.265,61) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jumaldi Alfi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Colour Guide Serie: Homage To Martin Kippenberger im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 50.859,49).
