Auction result well in line with expectations
The work RAJAH MANTRA NO. IX by Jumaldi Alfi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,854.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jumaldi Alfi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colour Guide Serie: Homage To Martin Kippenberger in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 50,859.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit RAJAH MANTRA NO. IX von Jumaldi Alfi kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.854,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jumaldi Alfi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colour Guide Serie: Homage To Martin Kippenberger im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 50.859,49).
