Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Postcard 003 The Notes by Jumaldi Alfi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 11,230.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jumaldi Alfi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colour Guide Serie: Homage To Martin Kippenberger in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 50,859.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Postcard 003 The Notes von Jumaldi Alfi kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 11.230,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 90.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jumaldi Alfi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colour Guide Serie: Homage To Martin Kippenberger im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 50.859,49).
