Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pressure (Landscape Series) by Jumaldi Alfi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 18,978.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 240,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jumaldi Alfi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colour Guide Serie: Homage To Martin Kippenberger, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 50,859.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pressure (Landscape Series) von Jumaldi Alfi kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 18.978,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jumaldi Alfi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colour Guide Serie: Homage To Martin Kippenberger beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 50.859,49) versteigert wurde.
