Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Remarks on Colour by Julião Sarmento was sold in the Collection Willem Peppler auction at Christies in Paris in October 2014. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,375.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julião Sarmento achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Emma 4 in February 2004 with an auction result of GBP 50,190.00 (€ 74,936.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Remarks on Colour von Julião Sarmento wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Collection Willem Peppler bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.375,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julião Sarmento erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Emma 4 im Februar 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.190,00 (€ 74.936,04).
