Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self Portrait As Soft Target by Julie Heffernan was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2010. The price achieved of USD 40,625.00 (€ 32,844.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Julie Heffernan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Self Portrait As Arms And The Men was auctioned for USD 56,250.00 (€ 45,494.99).
