Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Asturias #1; Asturias #2; Sleeping Princess; And Snow Country by Juliana Séraphim for USD 125.00 (€ 109.11). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juliana Séraphim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November this year with an auction result of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,121.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Asturias #1; Asturias #2; Sleeping Princess; And Snow Country von Juliana Séraphim für USD 125,00 (€ 109,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juliana Séraphim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.121,45).
