In October 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974 by Judy Dater. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,250.00 (€ 7,775.78), 61% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Judy Dater; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974 sold at auction in February 2008 with the realized price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,876.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974 von Judy Dater zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 7.775,78) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Judy Dater; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974 im Februar 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 9.876,87).
