Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Joseph Zaritsky was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2014. It changed hands for a price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,364.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Zaritsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Painting - Flowers, which sold at auction in October 2003 for USD 86,040.00 (€ 74,114.91).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Joseph Zaritsky kam im Februar 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.364,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Joseph Zaritsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Painting - Flowers beobachtet, die im Oktober 2003 für USD 86.040,00 (€ 74.114,91) versteigert wurde.
