Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli and International Art, which included the work Painting, Tel Aviv Windows by Joseph Zaritsky. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,250.00 (€ 20,841.67). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Zaritsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Painting - Flowers, which sold at auction in October 2003 for USD 86,040.00 (€ 74,114.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Painting, Tel Aviv Windows von Joseph Zaritsky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.250,00 (€ 20.841,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Joseph Zaritsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Painting - Flowers beobachtet, die im Oktober 2003 für USD 86.040,00 (€ 74.114,91) versteigert wurde.
