Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli and International Art, which included the work Paris by Joseph Zaritsky. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,168.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Zaritsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting - Flowers in October 2003 with an auction result of USD 86,040.00 (€ 74,114.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paris von Joseph Zaritsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.168,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Zaritsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting - Flowers im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.040,00 (€ 74.114,91).
