Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A drover with cattle on a bridge in a Highland landscape by Joseph Horlor was sold in the BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in London in September 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,466.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Joseph Horlor have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Hauling in the nets (illustrated); and Fishermen on the coast was auctioned for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 3,002.00).

Die Arbeit A drover with cattle on a bridge in a Highland landscape von Joseph Horlor wurde im September 2001 in der Auktion BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert.
