Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A milkmaid with cattle crossing a bridge, Wales by Joseph Horlor. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,591.30). Other works by Joseph Horlor have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,040.00 (€ 3,002.00) in May 2007 for the work Hauling in the nets (illustrated); and Fishermen on the coast.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A milkmaid with cattle crossing a bridge, Wales von Joseph Horlor zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.591,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Joseph Horlor haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 3.002,00) im Mai 2007 für die Arbeit Hauling in the nets (illustrated); and Fishermen on the coast beobachtet.
