A top price for Joseph Horlor
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Maritime & Naval Battles (Pictures), which included the work Hauling in the nets (illustrated); and Fishermen on the coast by Joseph Horlor. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,040.00 (€ 3,002.00), 70% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Hauling in the nets (illustrated); and Fishermen on the coast the most expensive artwork by Joseph Horlor that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime & Naval Battles (Pictures) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hauling in the nets (illustrated); and Fishermen on the coast von Joseph Horlor zur Versteigerung kam.
