Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,941.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Joseph Horlor have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Hauling in the nets (illustrated); and Fishermen on the coast was auctioned for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 3,002.00).
