Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2002 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY PRINTS, which included the work L'Arche de Noé, Joseph Hecht, Paris, 1926 (Tonneau-Ryckelynck/Plumart 133-139) by Joseph Hecht. The price achieved of GBP 822.50 (€ 1,330.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Hecht achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sinfonia Eroica, Marche funèbre in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
