This artwork by Jorge Eielson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June 2019. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Quipus sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,155.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jorge Eielson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Quipus 32 D-7 sold at auction in May 2018 with the realized price of USD 87,500.00 (€ 74,978.58).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jorge Eielson erzielte im Juni 2019 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Quipus für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.155,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jorge Eielson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Quipus 32 D-7 im Mai 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 74.978,58).
