Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Guest Bath by Jordi Ribes was auctioned at Phillips in March this year. The price achieved of USD 38,100.00 (€ 35,044.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jordi Ribes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April last year with an auction result of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 167,577.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Guest Bath von Jordi Ribes kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 38.100,00 (€ 35.044,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jordi Ribes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 167.577,49).
