Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jonathan Richardson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2001. In the Old Master Drawings - CSK auction, the work The Head Of A Bearded Man In Profile, Said To Be Michelangelo sold for GBP 822.50 (€ 1,339.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Richardson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Group Portrait of The Artist And His Son, Jonathan, With John Milton, Three-Quarter-Length, On A Balcony in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 39,126.47).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Group Portrait of The Artist And His Son, Jonathan, With John Milton, Three-Quarter-Length, On A Balcony im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 39.126,47).
