Admittedly, works by Jonathan Richardson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Group Portrait of The Artist And His Son, Jonathan, With John Milton, Three-Quarter-Length, On A Balcony in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 39,126.47).

Die Arbeit Portrait of Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727) von Jonathan Richardson wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Old Masters/New Scholars: Works of Art Sold to Benefit Rugby School bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.874,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jonathan Richardson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Group Portrait of The Artist And His Son, Jonathan, With John Milton, Three-Quarter-Length, On A Balcony im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 39.126,47).
