This artwork by Jonathan Green achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. In the Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples auction, the work Father and Son sold for USD 4,096.00 (€ 3,875.85) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Green - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Purple Blanket, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,802.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jonathan Green erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples wurde die Arbeit Father and Son für USD 4.096,00 (€ 3.875,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Green mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Purple Blanket beobachtet, die im März 2021 für USD 13.860,00 (€ 11.802,78) versteigert wurde.
