Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jonathan Green could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Riders On Horseback changed hands for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,436.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Jonathan Green have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2021 by the work Purple Blanket at USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,802.78).
