The work The Duke of Devonshire's celebrated Flying Childers, held by a groom by John Wootton was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June last year. The price achieved of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 146,376.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00.
