In June 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & MultiplesFeaturing the Arthur N. Gilbert Collection, which included the work Various Views Of Italy, From Italian Series by John Taylor Arms. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,295.00 (€ 1,937.04), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by John Taylor Arms have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Various Subjects in April 2000 with an auction result of USD 11,162.50 (€ 12,281.33).

Gilbert Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Various Views Of Italy, From Italian Series von John Taylor Arms zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.295,00 (€ 1.937,04) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Taylor Arms auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Various Subjects im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.162,50 (€ 12.281,33).
