The price achieved of USD 1,785.00 (€ 1,506.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Taylor Arms have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Various Subjects in April 2000 with an auction result of USD 11,162.50 (€ 12,281.33).
