Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dahlias by John MacLauchlan Milne was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,500.00 (€ 19,548.04). Admittedly, works by John MacLauchlan Milne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St Paul de Vence in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 107,100.00 (€ 125,745.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dahlias von John MacLauchlan Milne kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.500,00 (€ 19.548,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John MacLauchlan Milne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St Paul de Vence im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 107.100,00 (€ 125.745,48).
