The work Cornfield, Sannox by John MacLauchlan Milne was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Bonhams in May this year. It achieved a price of GBP 50,700.00 (€ 58,989.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 69%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John MacLauchlan Milne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work St Paul de Vence, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 107,100.00 (€ 125,745.48).

Die Arbeit Cornfield, Sannox von John MacLauchlan Milne wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 50.700,00 (€ 58.989,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 69%. Für andere Arbeiten von John MacLauchlan Milne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit St Paul de Vence beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 107.100,00 (€ 125.745,48) versteigert wurde.
