The work St Tropez by John MacLauchlan Milne was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 21,420.00 (€ 25,149.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by John MacLauchlan Milne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St Paul de Vence in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 107,100.00 (€ 125,745.48).
