A top price for John MacLauchlan Milne
When the work St Paul de Vence by John MacLauchlan Milne was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 35,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at GBP 107,100.00 (€ 125,745.48). This high result makes St Paul de Vence the most expensive artwork by John MacLauchlan Milne that we have observed at auctions so far.
