Auction result well in line with expectations

In December 2021 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Une promenade dans le parc (recto); and A cafe scene, unfinished (verso) by John MacLauchlan Milne. The price achieved of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,783.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John MacLauchlan Milne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work St Paul de Vence, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 107,100.00 (€ 125,745.48).

Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Une promenade dans le parc (recto); and A cafe scene, unfinished (verso) von John MacLauchlan Milne zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.783,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden.
