Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work „I Used to Think I Could Change the World“. by John Isaacs for EUR 4,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Frühjahr 2019 - Zeitgenössische Kunst at Grisebach and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by John Isaacs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (What Makes Certain). in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 20,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit „I Used to Think I Could Change the World“. von John Isaacs für EUR 4.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Frühjahr 2019 - Zeitgenössische Kunst bei Grisebach erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Isaacs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (What Makes Certain). im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.640,00.
