Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Somewhere over the Rainbow - 2011 by John Isaacs was sold in the Generation 21 by Artcurial auction at Artcurial in Paris in October last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,674.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Isaacs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (What Makes Certain). in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 20,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Somewhere over the Rainbow - 2011 von John Isaacs wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Generation 21 by Artcurial bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.674,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Isaacs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (What Makes Certain). im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.640,00.
