Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vase of flowers, Autumn by John Houston was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,675.62). Other works by John Houston have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,640.37) in October 2000 for the work Sunset over the Forth (from North Berwick Golf Club showing Fife and the Lomonds).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vase of flowers, Autumn von John Houston kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.737,50 (€ 6.675,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von John Houston haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.640,00 (€ 9.640,37) im Oktober 2000 für die Arbeit Sunset over the Forth (from North Berwick Golf Club showing Fife and the Lomonds) beobachtet.
