The work Special No. 5 (Wright A23) by John Buckland Wright was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY PRINTS auction at Christies in London in April 2002. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,997.50 (€ 3,231.90), 33% above the upper estimate. With this result, Special No. 5 (Wright A23) is even the most expensive work of art by John Buckland Wright that we have observed at auctions so far.
