This artwork by Johannes Duntze achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in November 2011. In the Alte Kunst auction, the work Abschied vom Fjord sold for EUR 10,965.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johannes Duntze have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Skaters at a Dutch hamlet in September 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 48,896.89).
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johannes Duntze erzielte im November 2011 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alte Kunst wurde die Arbeit Abschied vom Fjord für EUR 10.965,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Duntze auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Skaters at a Dutch hamlet im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 48.896,89).
