This artwork by Joe Reihsen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2016. In the New Now auction, the work without title sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,230.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Joe Reihsen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Destruction probable but not guaranteed sold at auction in September 2015 with the realized price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,917.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joe Reihsen erzielte im Dezember 2016 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.230,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Joe Reihsen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Destruction probable but not guaranteed im September 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.917,94).
