Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joe Reihsen could be acquired at Phillips in New York in February 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now Day Sale auction, the work I should have gotten your number after the orgy changed hands for USD 2,625.00 (€ 2,415.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joe Reihsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Destruction probable but not guaranteed in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,917.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joe Reihsen konnte im Februar 2016 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit I should have gotten your number after the orgy für USD 2.625,00 (€ 2.415,35) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joe Reihsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Destruction probable but not guaranteed im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.917,94).
