Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Untitled (Telephone Poles) 1-3 by Joe Andoe. Here, the upper estimate of USD 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,015.75 (€ 615.61). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Andoe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Horse Head) in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,866.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Telephone Poles) 1-3 von Joe Andoe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.015,75 (€ 615,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Andoe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Horse Head) im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.866,70).
