Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joe Andoe could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,417.34) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Joe Andoe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Horse Head) in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,866.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joe Andoe konnte im April 2012 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.417,34) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joe Andoe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Horse Head) im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.866,70).
