This artwork by Joe Andoe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in September 2019. In the New Now auction, the work without title sold for USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,743.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Joe Andoe; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Horse Head) sold at auction in September 2010 with the realized price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,866.70).
